Jan Quitzau - Executive Director

Jan Quitzau was recently appointed Executive Director of the Association. He has over 25 years experience in association management and has worked with Chambers of Commerce, destination marketing organizations, and not-for-profit agencies for most of his career. He has served as a marketing and strategic planning consultant to a diverse group of clients, organizations and foundations, and has been active in legislative initiatives and community development projects throughout his career. Jan is an active community advocate and serves on numerous boards of directors and committees. (He’s also an avid "car guy" with a long history of owning and working on classic American and vintage British automobiles!)As the Executive Director, Jan serves and represents the membership of the Association on federal, state, and local legislative issues, produces the monthly newsletter, handles all public and media relations; coordinates automotive repair and service training courses; oversees the Association’s very successful annual trade show; the weekly radio show "The Car Guys", and events such as the Car Care Fair. Jan is always available to help a member…and is only a phone call or email away.

Katrina Marois – Insurance Field Representative

Katrina joined the staff of SSRSOUNY in January 2007. Prior to this, she worked in the insurance industry for several years. She returned to the CNY area after spending 15 years in Arizona, where she attended the University of Arizona and graduated with a degree in Classical History. Katrina enjoys boating and riding her motorcycle (when weather permits).

Angela D’Andrea – Member Services Assistant

Angela joined the staff of SSRSOUNY in August of 2007. She most recently worked for the vehicle donation program at the Syracuse Rescue Mission, and also has worked in the Insurance Industry for several years. Angela was born and raised in Syracuse and lives with her family in the Eastwood area. She has two children. She is here to assist members with any questions or concerns they may have, so don’t hesitate to call or email.
