RIGHT TO REPAIR ACT HAS OVER

93 SPONSORS

As Congress takes their "spring recess,"  support for the Motor Vehicle Owners' Right to Repair Act (H.R. 2048) reached 93, as two new legislators signed on as co-sponsors. The new members of Congress include: Reps. John "Randy" Kuhl, R-N.Y. and Lucille Roybal-Allard, D-Calif. The Right to Repair Act, which was introduced by Reps. Joe Barton, R-Texas, Edolphus Towns, D-N.Y. and Darrel Issa, R-Calif., would require the car companies to make the same service information and tools capabilities available to independents that they provide their franchised dealer networks. For more information call the association office.
