Offers Energy Saving Program for SSRSOUNY Members

As you have seen, electricity and gas costs are rising, New York State has an energy crisis, and your electric power bills are way too high. Now, you can do something about it. A special fund has been created to motivate building owners and occupants like you to reduce energy usage by giving them incentive rewards. Unfortunately, those rewards are available only to businesses which are large enough consumers to meet the entry threshold. · Cost Reduction Partners will complete all of the work — surveys, financial analysis and paperwork — necessary to get the incentives.

Interest rates bought down by up to 400 basis points or 4.0%

A network of participating lenders — including banks, credit unions, community development financial institutions, and farm credit associations — can provide you with a low-cost loan. The lender’s interest rate is "bought down" by up to 400 basis points or 4.0%. Interest rate reductions are available for the lesser of 10 years or the life of the loan. For commercial projects, the maximum loan amount is $1,000,000 for eligible improvements.
